Ron Callis Jr - President

Prior to establishing Firefly Design Group in September of 2007, Ron served as the Regional Manager of Crestron Electronics managing the South Florida and Caribbean markets. He managed the opening of the newest Crestron Regional office in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida and regularly taught courses at national conferences within the industry as well as courses to the AIA and ASID. Prior to his position with Crestron, Ron worked for Lutron Electronics from 2000-2003 as a Sales Engineer managing markets and client relationships throughout the Midwest. Ron received his Bachelors of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Virginia Tech in 2000. Ron is certified by CEDIA to teach their ROI (Registered Industry Outreach) Curriculum to the building industry and is a CCI Instructor (CEDIA Certified Instructor). In 2009, Ron joined CEDIA’s Content Action Team to create better course curriculum within their business college. Ron is regularly featured in the National and International Press as a leading voice and advocate for the home owner’s rights to good design and professionalism in this new era of technology that touches every aspect of our lives.
